Music at St. George's

Andrew Krystopolski directing the choir April 2012

Music at St. George’s continues to explore the wide spectrum of sacred music in worship. Our program of traditional, contemporary and classical repertoire as well current compositions from beloved composers of church music inspires all who worship with us. Sharing God’s gift of music is a primary way St. George’s Church seeks to enrich the lives of its people. Building upon a long-standing tradition of excellence, we provide music opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

Music is for everyone at St. George’s. Whether you are a member of our Adult Choir to our St. Nicholas Youth Choir to the Congregation – our uniqueness appeals to all ages and all interests in church music. Even as a participant or a member of the congregation, our music is universal, meaningful and heartfelt.

The Music at St. George’s is not stuffy and staid; it is spiritual, uplifting and joyful. We worship God unabashedly through our beautiful hymns and melodic voices.

The Musical Liturgy at St. George’s is a very essential part of our liturgy and history. We lift up our hearts and voices to God through the words we say and the hymns we sing at every mass. Our music speaks for itself: it is a poignant and powerful part of each and every church service held at St. George’s.
